Established in June 2022, The Journal of Interdisciplinary Qur'anic Studies (JIQS), a bilingual and peer-reviewed academic journal, aims to promote interdisciplinary studies of the Qur'an with a wide range of scholarly approaches.

The editors welcome papers on all aspects of Quranic studies associated with different fields of science and humanities, such as psychology, sociology, anthropology, linguistics, management, literature, archeology, economics, ethics, philosophy, law, politics, history, physics, biology, geology, astronomy, meteorology, medical science, engineering and computer science. Furthermore, the journal gives special emphasis to the field of artificial intelligence, particularly Computational Quran Mining.

JIQS follows Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and complies with the highest ethical standards in accordance with ethical laws. This is an open access journal.
