Established in June 2022, The Journal of Interdisciplinary Qur'anic Studies (JIQS), a bilingual and peer-reviewed academic journal, aims to promote interdisciplinary studies of the Qur'an with a wide range of scholarly approaches.

 

The editors welcome papers on all aspects of Quranic studies associated with different fields of science and humanities, such as psychology, sociology, anthropology, linguistics, management, literature, archeology, economics, ethics, philosophy, law, politics, history, physics, biology, geology, astronomy, meteorology, medical science, engineering and computer science. Furthermore, the journal gives special emphasis to the field of artificial intelligence, particularly Computational Quran Mining.

 

JIQS has been granted a 'B' rating in the scientific and research journals assessment conducted by the Ministry of Science of Iran.

JIQS is following of Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and complies with the highest ethical standards in accordance with ethical laws. All submitted manuscripts are checked for similarity through trustworthy softwares named iThenticate and SAMIMNOOR to be assured about its originality and then rigorously peer-reviewed by the international reviewers. This is an open access journal .
